Nancy J. Myers, D.M.D.
Nancy Myers, DMD, is a graduate of Indiana University of Pennsylvania and earned her dental degree from Temple University School of Dentistry, in 1998. She graduated from Temple with honors and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honor Society. After dental school she completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in the Air Force.
While enjoying all aspects of dentistry, Dr. Myers is most interested in sleep medicine and neuromuscular dentistry, which deals with temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMJ) and craniofacial pain disorders. She has in excess of 700 hours of training in neuromuscular dentistry and sleep medicine. Using state-of-the-art equipment, including a 3D cone-beam scanner, these conditions can be accurately diagnosed and treated.
Dr. Myers believes in a multidisciplinary approach when treating patients with these types of disorders. This team approach includes referrals to primary-care physicians, ENTs, physical therapy and other healthcare professionals.
